Cindy Crawford in Bathing Suit is "Suited Up for Summer" Celebwell
Cindy Crawford is one of the most iconic supermodels of all time. She's known for her swimsuit photoshoots and spreads. Crawford just shared a montage on Instagram of her swimsuit photos throughout the years. She captioned the post, "Suited up for the summer." How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Cindy Crawford stays in shape.
Crawford broke down her daily routine with Harper's Bazaar. She says that she makes sure to do cardio each morning. "I do 20 minutes of cardio, 10 on the Bellicon trampoline, and 10 running stairs. I listen to music and audiobooks—it makes it go faster. I don't love working out—does anyone? But I love the way I feel afterward."
Crawford has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Harper's Bazaar that she likes to keep her skin more natural. "I use my own line, Meaningful Beauty, on my skin. I love our day cream, which has SPF and antioxidants. I've got my makeup down to three minutes. It's a nude, natural look. As I've gotten older, I wear less makeup because my skin looks good."
Crawford talked about her wellness routine with The Cut. "Wellness to me is about balance," she revealed. "I don't want to be one of those people that's like, 'Oh my god I missed my workout I'm so stressed about it', or 'Oh my gosh I had a piece of birthday cake.' It's not just being healthy. In my life, it's balance between friends, family, philanthropy, me-time, and work. The days when I feel like I got it right — they're few and far between — are the days when I feel the most well in the complete sense of the word."
When it comes to her diet, Crawford uses the 80/20 approach. "The overall theory is 80 percent good, 80 percent of the time," she told The Cut. "That's achievable to me. But I'm constantly learning. When I first moved to New York, for some reason everyone thought pasta was low fat. I actually thought that was a diet food. I was never so happy. It was awesome. But my body does better with less 'white foods' like bread and pasta. Those things stick to me more than a salad with a piece of salmon or vegetables and protein. Once in a while, you have to have a piece of pizza. I look back at those times with longing. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I wish I still thought a big bowl of pasta was a diet food; now it's a total cheat."
Crawford shared her advice for others in her interview with The Cut. "Listen to your instincts. It's like anything, what is right for your friend may not be right for you. So try it, but if it doesn't work for you, there are 20 more things to pick from. If you don't like biking, try swimming. If you don't like swimming, try a class. There is no one way, so find your one way."
