Taylor Swift blew up Instagram this week after announcing the upcoming release of her seventh studio album Lover. The album drops on August 23, 2019, and fans are going crazy. Taylor made the announcement live in an Instagram story and immediately went viral. The first song, “Me!” was released on April 26, 2019, and the official video featured imagery that Taylor is now revealing on her Instagram account. “Me!”, featuring Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie, was a huge success.

Taylor’s more than 118 million Instagram fans are going wild over the hype and millions are responding to her photos, videos, and stories that are flooding social media networks.
One photo in particular that is drawing plenty of attention features a massive butterfly and snake tattoo on Taylor Swift’s back. Though Taylor’s devout fans know the tattoo isn’t real, it’s the symbolism that is making the photo go viral.
In the picture, you can see as Taylor Swift reveals her full back. She is wearing a pink bikini top and her blonde hair is pulled up in a twist. A flock of butterflies can be seen, but if you look at the bottom of the tattoo, you will see the butterflies are arising from two snakes.
In her sixth studio album, Reputation, snakes were a featured theme. Now with Lover, we see butterflies rising out of the mouths of snakes. We’re expecting to see more of this imagery when the official video for “You Need To Calm Down” drops on Monday.
